Searching for Nature Stock Photography?

There is a search field at the top of every page. Type in a keyword and wait a few moments for the results to come up. Search results will show keywords, images and galleries. Click on the "keyword" in the search result for the broadest range of images that match search criteria.

Purchasing a Royalty-Free License

To purchase a royalty-free license follow the same shopping cart process. When you get to the cart click on the tab at the top that says "downloads" and choose either high resolution (for printing) or low resolution (for the web) images.

Choosing An Image Size


You can either choose a low resolution digital download that's suitable for a website or a high resolution download that's suitable for high quality printing. Low resolution images cost $55 and high resolution images cost $188.

Ordering a Rights-Managed License

Many images in the Nature Stock Photography Library are still available for rights-managed licensing -- allowing you exclusive or semi-exclusive use of the image for your advertising or public relations campaign. If you would like to negotiate a Rights Managed License for one of the images in this database please contact us.

The best way is to quote the file name and include a brief description of the image with your inquiry. Also, any information about your planned use for the stock photograph would be helpful. The more information we have the better -- and it allows us to offer you a fair quote.

All prints are delivered by Smugmug and are processed by a professional lab renowned for color accuracy and consistency. If you are unhappy with your prints or gifts Smugmug will reprint or refund your order, whichever you prefer. Simply send email to help@smugmug.com within 30 days of receiving your order.

There is also a 30 day guarantee for our royalty free and rights managed images. If you are unhappy with your royalty free image for any reason we will refund your order or give you a credit to purchase another image.
